TARZAN CHEESEBURGER: Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Howdy! First off, I want to thank the fine folks at World News Trust for allowing me this forum. Nobody else wants to run my stuff, and I can't figure out how to set up my own blog while broke and homeless, so this is a good situation for me.

They've agreed to let me write a once-weekly column of my musings, thoughts, feelings, rants, or whatever. Why? I'm not sure. I met World News Trust editor Francis Goodwin a few weeks ago when he gave me a few quarters as I was panhandling in front of the McDonalds at 28th and Park in Manhattan. Man, I was hungry -- plus I needed a beer. We got to talking about different things, one thing led to another, and here I am.

I asked Goodwin: "What should I write about?" He said he doesn't care, as long as I don't promote violence or hatred or malice. Cool -- that's not my style anyway. So, as a bum who sleeps in the park and panhandles for food, etc., I'll wrap up this introductory column with the following observation:

There's something profoundly wrong with the people of this world -- and it's a spiritual problem. Sure, we can see this spiritual blight manifested on the mental plane, in the minds of people, and on the physical plane, in their sick bodies and wrongful actions. But, at the risk of being redundant, let me repeat: This is a problem that is at its root spiritual in nature, and that's where we've got to tackle it.
