Bend Over and Grab Your Ankles, America, Things May Get Worse
by Allen Snyder

http://www.opednews.com/snyder1003_bend_over.htm

<snip>
Drowned out in the media-orchestrated overhype about the California recall and the landslide victory of Governor-elect Schwarzenegger (cough! choke!) over Gary Coleman, a porn star, Gallagher, and the hapless Cruz Bustamante, are the more long-term consequences of another Republican ‘victory’ for America’s political future.

With malleable and moronic BushCo shills manning the governmental controls in Texas, Florida (is stupidity genetic?), New York, every Federal branch, and now, California, there is little but hope (or a miracle transplant of Dennis Kucinich’s mind into General Clark’s body) standing in the way of a BushCo re-appointment in 2004.

1. Pete Wilson was governor of California in both 1992 and 1996...
Edited on Tue Oct-21-03 10:28 AM by GainesT1958
And Clinton won the state both times, handily. George Pataki was governor of New york in 1996 and in 2000, and Clinton took it in '96 while Al Gore took it in 2000, both by wide margins. John Engler was governor of Michigan in 1992, 1996, and in 2000, all three years in which either Clinton or Al Gore won the state. Illinois had a Repub governor in those same years, and Clinton or Gore won that state all three times.

And Clinton won re-election in 1996 with Repubs in control of both houses on Congress.

Why does the "Gropenator" being governor make for all being lost in 2004? :eyes:

B-)

3. BBV?
The reign of these Repuke governors coincides with the paperless and audit-free revolution in vote counting.

4. The fact that the Old Republic is dying
The fact that, somewhere around the year 2000, Imperial Amerikan Subjects became "open season" for the Third World-style election-rigging antics we've been practicing in Latin Amerika for deacades.

The fact that Goebbels v2.0 (the Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media, and the rest of the Busbevik Propaganda Program) has proven itself able to whitewash just about any lie more effectively than was possible when America was still free (yes, yes, our daily lives are not YET saturated with tyranny -- because the fish rots from the head down).

"Touchscreen" voting will shortly be in place across the Empire, effectively removing any possibiltiy of discovering wrongdoing in the (laughably called) "electoral" process.

The fact that Imperial Amerika, with the iron coils of Goebbels v2.0 around it's neck and the boot of the Busheviks on it's face, has become as laughably predictable on everthing from WMDs in Iraq to the Wilson Affair to the Busheviks telling the EPA to lie to the 9-11 rescue workers about air quality to the fact that everyone can be easily convinced that none of it matters...

Since the Bloodless Coup of 2000, a crooked bunch perhaps the likes of which has never been seen before (outside of Germany, the Soviet Union, the Phillipines, Haiti, Iraq, Iran, Chile...)is in control of the Empire and such "lucky trifectas" have been an Orwellian standard of life here since then.

Read Animal Farm. Read 1984. We live, to varying degrees, in these places now.

Orwell was rght, he was just off by 17 years.

6. Hinckley, Mena, Iran-Contra, and the eighties bank swindle
Showed the BFEE that they could get away with anything. Slavish corporate media plus the black box voting thing has made anything possible.
