Bush: Syria must be held accountable
Syrian officials dismiss Mehlis' report as 'politicized, unprofessional'

By Raed El Rafei and Majdoline Hatoum
Daily Star staff
Saturday, October 22, 2005

BEIRUT: US President George W. Bush has demanded immediate UN action to deal with what he called a "deeply disturbing" U.N. investigative report implicating Syrian officials in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Speaking from California, Bush said: "The report strongly suggests that the politically motivated assassination could not have taken place without Syrian involvement."

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice also demanded "accountability" for Syria's alleged involvement in the killing.

"Accountability is going to be very important for the international community," Rice said, as she flew with British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw on a tour of Alabama.

2. You know, you almost gotta love this clown
He accepts UN reports when he feels like it. And what about the UN reports that said no WMD. Couldn't believe those, could you? But this report, which says just what you want it to say, is just the thing. There aren't the words the describe our contempt for you.

But hey, bush said the IAEA and UN reports said Iraq was not cooperating with the weapons inspectors and GUESS WHAT! The UN and IAEA reports said Iraq was giving UNPRECEDENTED cooperation.

bush is stupid...and he lies. A lot.

This guy is either a dumb m-fer or has a large set of balls. I am betting on the former...

5. Sounds like Bush is setting the stage for an invasion
of Syria--maybe not on the scale of nation building, just incursions and patrolling across the border.
Gotta admire Bush's nerve, scolding Syria for an alleged assassination after trying his level best to assassinate Saddam during Shock and Awe, not to mention demanding that Syria seal its border with Iraq while our own southern border's security is a running joke.
Naked arrogance, with hypocrisy on loan from Limbaugh.

7. For what, bush??? Don't tell me...ya didn't bother to actually READ
the UN's report, did ya.

Coz the UN's report doesn't say Syria done it. It DOES say LEBANESE AND SYRIAN security officals probably KNEW about it.

So bush...are ya just being stupid again, or are ya LYING again? Just wondering.

10. Here we go - could be one person who killed him or U.S, UK, .and
Israeli assassinators, or a plot by SOME Syrians - so we're going to go in and kill thousands, allow the artifacts to be stolen or destroyed, take some more limbs, organs, immune system, minds, and conquer it as part of the U.S.. UK, Isreel PNAC plan.

(And I am not anti-semetic. Criticizing Israel politics under their current regime is not anti-semetic.)

Can you believe their arrogance - they are pushing right along with all their agenda items while a spotlight is about to be shone on their lies for going to war and killing Iraqis and our fine young children. They are concocting stuff because they are liars. Will someone please record all their words and accusations? We need to get them all down with clips, dates, times, audiences. Kofi Anan or someone - please say or do something. Anyone who doesn't speak is a PNACer or a PNAC supporter.

13. Whatever Bush accuses others of doing, is what he's doing.
Ever notice that?

Whether he's talking about Osama, Saddam or Syria, it always sounds like he's describing himself and what he's up to.

The more trouble he gets in, the trouble he starts to distract.

14. Get your war hard on
The chimp knows he's in deep shit and this is merely a strong case of wagging the dog.

Rove, Libby and Cheney could all be indicted and the idiot in chief needs a distraction.

Piss on him and the horse he road in on!!
