4. The WIN

The WIN is a huge part of the overall Rove scheme but especially in regards to Iraq.

This was the big one that would erase Vietnam (We will be WINNERS again).
Don't you want to be with the WINNERS?
You aren't a LOSER are you?

All that. Those who jumped in head first don't want to admit that they were duped not only would it not make them a WINNER it would lessen the WIN they already chalked up.

Basically being a bully. Most that signed up to this never got to win at anything before, W was the not-smart-kid like them who gave them a shot at winning and they are sticking with him no matter what....otherwise they go back to losing.
