Rush Limbaugh tries to mend Repugnik Rift
Rush Limbaugh, also known to us as the Fat Drug addict is trying to play off the rift forming in the Repugnik camp.

http://www.opinionjournal.com/forms/printThis.html?id=110007417

Some liberal commentators mistakenly view the passionate debate among conservatives over the Miers nomination as a "crackup" on the right. They are giddy about "splits" in the conservative base of the GOP. They are predicting doom for the rest of the president's term and gloom for Republican electoral chances in 2006.

Gee, it must be our imagination that Bush is polling lower than ever before. Perhaps we are "misunderestimating" the situation. Tell us oh mighty drug fiend, what is the cause of the sub 40% approval ratings?

Guess Limbastard got the talking points memo from the White House, wonder who jerked his chain to get him in line?

For the Talking Points memo information on Myers, follow this link.

1. You know, does being a "mighty drug fiend" have anything to do with it?
After all, I took several kinds of illegal or illicitly procured drugs as recently as last night, and I think Rush is a dupe and a fraud, and that the Republican Party is currently splitting along the lines that were predictable all along -- Jesus Freaks vs. Corporate Whores.
Being a degenerate dope fiend doesn't mean you're blind to the truth.
Sincerely,
A Degenerate Dope Fiend.

It's been a tough few years for us drug-abusing assholes. People just assume that you're also greedy and dumb and mean and Republican, and I'm none of those things. Well, except occasionally mean. But only to people who fit the other three descriptors.

4. It does if phone calls from the WH remind you that you're dependent
upon the Prez or his brother the Gov for your eventual pardon so please say what we want you to say, when and how we want you to say it. Enough of this bashing of the Prez's nominee.

5. The difference is obvious
I don't use drugs, mainly because I work in an industry that has mandatory testing constantly. I never enjoyed them all that much, I would rather sit back with a book and some music and relax.

However those who do use drugs don't normally talk bad about those who also use. Limbastard demonstrated the classic hypocritical crap that is sterotypical of the Repugniks. Denounce pro drug legalization people while you are popping pills and stoned out of your gourd. Demand strict jail them now laws while you try and wiggle out of whatever trouble you are in.

That is why I point out he is a drug fiend, not out of malice towards those who choose to indulge, but out of a sense of outrage at his blatent hypocracy. I am not one who blames those who do what I do, nor do I blame those who do what I have done. I have long supported treatment for drug addiction in lieu of long prison terms. Of course, unlike the Repugniks, I am a fix the problem kind of person. I figure the worst way to fix the problem is to make the problem a crime.
