Axis of Evil Speechwriter on Miers (calls her a toady)

EXCERPT:

She rose to her present position by her absolute devotion to George Bush. I mentioned last week that she told me that the president was the most brilliant man she had ever met. To flatter on such a scale a person must either be an unscrupulous dissembler, which Miers most certainly is not, or a natural follower. And natural followers do not belong on the Supreme Court of the United States.

If a dyed in the the wool conservative can say this, the Democrats on the Judiciary Committee better be at least as tough.

2. What, other than being a sycophant,
qualifies this person to be a Supreme Court Justice?

And if she thinks the boy king is the most brilliant man she's ever met, she belongs in a mental institution, not on the bench.

I guess Ms. Miers doesn't get out much or she reads just about as often as Bush does. Yet again, loyalty is rewarded. Qualifications be damned. (Pretty delusional NR article for the most part, by the way.)
