As usual, Tony Blair best articulated those stakes, for our people and his, just this week:

Strip away their fake claims of grievance and see them for what they are: terrorists who use 21st century technology to fight a pre-medieval religious war that is utterly alien to the future of humankind."

I think that along with isolating jihadists and keeping more from flooding into Iraq, this is the key to ending the war. If it can be accomplished within the next few weeks, great. If it can't, too bad. Bring our troops home.

(Indicting Zarquawi sounds like a winner, but does Zarquawi really exist, or is he a boogeyman invented by Bushco?)
