Examine the essence of public ethics
<snip> What is ethical about a legislative body that persists in the charade of wrapping itself in the chiffon of "fiscal responsibility" while shoving nearly $500 billion in budget deficits onto our children?

What is ethical about a government that professes its will to leave no child behind, and then not only eviscerates the direct budget for that effort but also slashes supporting assistance for children's health insurance and nutrition programs for working but economically disadvantaged families?

What is ethical about a legislative body that aids and abets an administration in the radical redistribution of national wealth by directing a shamefully large portion of tax cuts to the top 1 percent of Americans while ensuring trillions of dollars in debt for future generations?

What is ethical about a government that thumbs its nose at its obligations under international treaties regarding nuclear proliferation, torture and collective, as opposed to unilateralist, military intervention? <snip>
