Rescuing the USA
Rescuing the USA;
by Rob Kall

How do we take her back from the wolves and jackals and what steps should we be planning to rid her of the cancers and chancres which right wing extremists have infested her with?
snip----
The United States of America is in danger as a nation. Will we, in our lifetimes, see it collapse, as China and India take our industries away from us, as vote theft enables theocorporatists to infect and infest our major organs and systems? Will the nations we are growing more and more in debt to pull us down?

We must wake up the patriotic Americans who put nation before Pope, before Megachurch minister. We must teach those citizens who would sell out our nation at the behest of a pope or minister or televangelist who tells them who to vote for that they have lost their way. We must take back or take down the media that have been taken over by transnational megacorporations and we must do it soon or we won't be able to do it at all.

At some point in the 1930's, millions of Jews and Poles and Germans, Austrians, Italians, French and other Europeans left their homelands when they realized their nations had become dangerous and psychopathic. Those people were survivors. We need to stop the USA, the most powerful nation in the world from continuing along the path to psychopathy. It will not be easy. But it can be done. It will take more commitment and activism NOW than you engaged in during the presidential elections.

Our "enemy" is not just the extreme right. It is also the leadership of the centrist portion of the Democratic party. They would sign a Faustian pact with the devil that writes off women's rights (opposing abortion,) that allies with megacorporations and that makes the Democratic party look more and more like the Republican party. This is the road to failure, the road that will allow the USA to crumble and fall.

2. Nominated.
I'm sending this to everyone in my book.

snip...

We have to look long and hard at our largest company, Walmart, and decide whether they are an American company or a Chinese company seeking to milk the US for all the money it can, while simultaneously wiping out US industries that can't compete with Chinese labor. Maybe, as a stopgap measure, we can put a tax on sales by all companies that are using non-US goods for more than 50% of their products or parts. If that violates the world trade agreements we have signed, then we need to terminate those agreements. If Bush could terminate global warming and diplomatic agreements, then we can cancel trade agreements.

3. It's Going to Take a War
and not just Iraq, either. There's going to have to be a Woodward and BErnstein, a Thomas Paine, a Nathan Hale, a John Paul Jones, and most of all, a Franklin, 2 Adams, and a Washington.

Most of them will probably be female, by the way.

or there will be another civil war, otherwise.

4. The Market & The Court Room
How do we take back our country from the wolves and jackals and what steps should we be planning to rid her of the cancers and chancres which right wing extremists have infested her with?

Well, the traditional methods of success has always been one or a combination of these methods - during our revolution all of these were used:

- Voting
- Mass Public Protests
- News Media (education)
- Business Boycotts
- Jury Nullifying
- Violent Revolution

I think we would all agree that we are not yet at the point of violent revolution, although we seem to certainly be driving down that road, however, as pointed out, we are not at that point.

Also, as we all know, for all intents and purposes; voting and the news media have been usurped by the corporation, and mass public protest has by-in-large been usurped by police-state laws and unfavorable reporting by the corporate news media.

So that leaves us with jury nullifying and boycotts. And I might add that both are very powerful tools used with success by our founding fathers and other struggles throughout our history.

So it is my opinion that by using the internet blogs and grass-roots educating and spreading the word in our schools and workplaces; we can use the courts against them (as instructed by our founding fathers to do so), and destroy their machine by starving it of its fuel - money!

So we ALL should make a pledge to do our duties as jurors (the way our founding fathers taught us to), and uphold the "Constitution" when confronted with a defendant who has practiced his right to assemble and speak-out against the government (or corporations), but was arrested because he didn't have a permit or because he was in a public area but didn't move when told to do so. Also you might want to review the history of labor-unions using jury nullifying to maybe give you an example on how you will handle a lawsuit case involving an individual Vs. a corporation.

And we ALL should make a pledge to absolutely NOT patronize any business who either: out-sources its jobs to cheap slave wage labor overseas, or who spends more money on political lobbying more than what average individuals do, or who has no respect for the environment.

Now I know that cuts-out a LOT of places of business and limits you. But you have to ask yourself: "Is there a local mom&pop business that can provide me with what I need?", "Do I know for sure that this product was made by American labor?", "Is buying this product from this big-corporate dealer worth destroying my beloved country for?" Because I don't need to remind you folks on this forum (I can see you all are quite intelligent), that the money you spend at places like Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, McDonalds, Bayer, etc. Is spent in Washington to, removing the principle of government of the people for the people, to government of corporations for corporations - its that simple.

But of course I understand that there may be circumstances of absolute necessity that, where you have no other choice but to purchase a product from one of these business. But lets pledge to limit our purchases from these people to items of absolute necessity, i.e. needed medication, needed hardware that can't be had anywhere else to make a necessary repair, etc.

    Berkeley's free speech movement 1964:

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part, you can't even tacitly take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all." --- Mario Savio

P.S. Make the pledge to NEVER cross a picket-line. That act in-of-itself has caused so much set-back of what could have been accomplished..

5. Wow. Shew. You're right.
I carry a small book of the Constitution & Bill of Rights w/me all the time these days, because it reminds me of our true democratic democracy - what it really means to be a partisan of America within the seams.

Speaking of seams, we're already unraveling at the seams, and those outside the beltway know it. Kerry knows it. Boxer knows it, and others...

1. How do we rally?
2. How do we get-up the nerve to do something that we never, ever thought we'd need to do?
3. Our youth, the ones up there sniping for this adm... the ones that grew-up cultured by an industry that dramatized shootings, army-life glorified in the name of Nintendo, etc...

And one thing another poster said might be very close to the truth: It might have to be led by women, at that.
