Does anybody have a link to the 19 traitorous Democratic Senators?
The bankruptcy bill passed in a vote of 74-25. That means 20 Democrats did not vote AGAINST the bill. Of those, one did not vote and Mrs. Clinton gets a pass on this as she was at the hospital with her husband today.

So what I'm trying to figure out is who voted for this abomination that is a direct assault on the middle class? Obviously the following 14 traitors to the working person are probably a part of this mob of sellouts as they voted in favor of cloture:

Biden (D-DE)
Byrd (D-WV)
Carper (D-DE)
Conrad (D-ND)
Johnson (D-SD)
Kohl (D-WI)
Landrieu (D-LA)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Nelson (D-FL)
Nelson (D-NE)
Pryor (D-AR)
Salazar (D-CO)
Stabenow (D-MI)

So who are the other five traitors to the middle class?

You won't vote for Casey who opposes this bill to get rid of Santorum who is in favor of it. So you too would sell out the middle class just for a different reason.

and/or called and be notified of the dissatisfaction of their constituents.
I would be interested in their explanations for voting for this bill. Biden and Carper live in MBNA's pants, so that is the explanation.

What possible explanation could the others have?
They would have gained so much more respect if they had voted NO. I personally th ink they would have gained more monetary support from individuals and groups like unions if they had voted NO.

I am at a total loss to explain this total lack of concern for the base voters that the Democratic Party is supposed to represent. This bill benefits absolutely no one but the banks and credit card companies. There is no way to rationalize this.

7. Stabenow's DC office
202-224-4822 I called Thursday afternoon. It seems they were getting a lot of critical calls. I think more would be in order.

8. Just remember "thomas -- loc -- gov" for any vote in either house

of Congress. The homepage at http://thomas.loc.gov has a URL for roll call votes. Click it and you'll see another URL for 109th Congress -- first session -- Senate. Click that and you'll get a list of URLs for all votes, in numbered sequence, most recent first. Click on the vote number (first column) and you're done.

Thus the URL for the Senate roll call vote for final passage of the bankruptcy bill is only two pages away from the "thomas" homepage, at http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00044
