Privatization: the Bush magic bullet (JEB's Medicaid attack in FL)
You can certainly say this for the Bush brothers - they're consistent.

If there is a complex social problem facing government, both George W. and Jeb have an all-purpose answer: privatization.

Turn the problem over to somebody who can make a buck. That's the American way.

President Bush takes this approach with Social Security. Jeb wants to take it right here in Florida with Medicaid, the joint federal-state medical-care program designed to help the poorest of the poor.

The brothers' sales techniques as chief executives are eerily similar, too. First they beat the drums for what they call "reform," but fail to provide details of what they have in mind.

Later you learn that somehow benefits will be cut for those most in need.
