Kerry campaign lawyers checking Ohio vote
Posted on Thu, Nov. 11, 2004
Associated Press

CLEVELAND - Lawyers with John Kerry's presidential campaign are in Ohio on what they describe as a "fact-finding mission" following the Democrat's election loss to President Bush last week.

Dan Hoffheimer, the statewide counsel for the Kerry campaign, said they are not trying to challenge the election but are only carrying out Kerry's promise to make sure that all the votes in Ohio are counted.

8. Good.
All those people in Cleveland, Toledo and Columbus who waited in line for hours and hours deserve nothing less than to be ensured that their votes were counted. I'm glad to hear they're at least keeping the pressure on here to make sure that happens. I don't think it'll change anything except to make those people who got screwed on Election Day feel like they didn't waste their time, but that's not small beer -- if they feel like they wasted their time, they won't do it in the future.
