Mystery Sub Spotted in Japanese Waters

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=535&ncid=535&e=8&u=/ap/20041110/ap_on_re_as/japan_submarine_chase

~snip~

TOKYO - Japan's navy went on alert Wednesday when an unidentified submarine made a brief incursion into the country's southern waters near Okinawa.

The submarine left Japanese waters shortly after it was spotted and a reconnaissance aircraft and destroyer were monitoring its movements, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroyuki Hosoda said. Tokyo also was trying to determine where the vessel came from.

If the submarine's origin is identified, Japan will take "necessary steps," Hosoda said, without elaborating.

Japan's public broadcaster NHK said defense officials were investigating a possible link between the sub sighting and Chinese military vessels detected recently in Japan's southern waters.

5. They're preparing the hit
This was probably recon testing visibility or something. The neocons are in the final stages of putting their next 9/11 in place. They will place the sub off the coast of N Korea and launch a nuke missile at the US (probably LA.)

It will then be claimed that N Korea launched the missile, giving them the pretext to hit N Korea with nukes and start further wars AND pour untold billions into the "missile defense" gravy train. The US "defense" budget really has to be the biggest con job in the history of the world. Can you imagine how much of that money gets creamed off here and there into swiss bank accounts? Don't think it isn't happening. It is.

Hi soundhead! :hi:

Cuz I figured they wouldn't hit LA or Seattle due to their military assets. I figure it'd be SF or Portland, cuz all we got is a bunch of liberals. It'd be a two-fer.

8. Didn't the 'Rev.' Moon sell some used nuclear subs to. . . .
NORTH FUCKING KOREA?!!! I forget the whole story, but it seems like I read that the 'messiah' got hold of some russian leftovers somehow, and sold them to north Korea. And don't forget, North Korea HAS nukes, unlike Iran which probably doesn't, and Iraq which CERTAINLY DIDN'T.

9. Probably a chinese diesel-electric
They're probably doing some fun exercises in support of their eventual invasion (ooops, they prefer the term reunification or reintegration) of Taiwan. They're probably also having a great deal of fun eyeballing the USMC training areas in the northern part of the island, and listening in on the milcomms coming out of the USAF, USN, USA and USMC assets stationed on Oki.

The Japanese Navy Self Defense Force operates P3s out of Naha. If they want to track that sub, they can. Or they can ask the US assets stationed at Kadena to do it for them.
