Iraq Troops Find 'Hostage Slaughterhouses'
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 10:55 AM by maddezmom
NEAR FALLUJAH, Iraq - Iraqi troops have found "hostage slaughterhouses" in Fallujah where foreign captives were held and killed, the commander of Iraqi forces in the city said Wednesday.

Troops found CDs and records of people taken captive in houses in the northern part of Fallujah, Maj. Gen. Abdul Qader Mohammed Jassem Mohan told reporters.

"We have found hostage slaughterhouses in Fallujah that were used by these people and the black clothing that they used to wear to identify themselves, hundreds of CDs and whole records with names of hostages," the general said at a military camp near Fallujah.

He was unsure if the hostage records included the names of any of the at least nine foreigners still in the hands of kidnappers — most notably, British aid worker Margaret Hassan, French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot and an unidentified American worker for a Saudi company.

Are these the same Iraqi forces paid directly from the US military???

2. At this point I see no difference between them and us
In this latest stage of the battle for control of resources, more deaths are going to follow. I have no clue how this is going to end but I have no faith in our leadership either.

It still feels like Vietnam to me.

14. The difference between Vietnam and Iraq is this, at least
the U.S. had the South helping to fight the North, and a place for the troops to get drunk and have a conversation with a non english speaking girl.

Where do the troops go to relax in Iraq. Or are they forced to listen to General Boykin tapes? And watch John Hagee re-runs?

57. Look harder
I don't recall too many US troops performing public be-headings, bridge hangings, suicide car bombs aimed at innocents and other killing just for the shock of killing innocents. Even we that hate war can see that the US is not anything like the vermin performing these act of terror and horror.

The beheadings are gruesome to be sure, but dead is dead, frankly. And there have been numerous innocents killed on both sides.

3. U.S. troops create their own slaughterhouses
'Scores of civilians' killed in Falluja

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/813419D5-CC95-4505-9367-05140111C618.htm

Muhammad Abbud said he watched his nine-year-old son bleed to death at their Falluja home, unable to take him to hospital as fighting raged in the streets and bombs rained down on the Iraqi city.

Residents say scores of civilians have been killed or wounded in 24 hours of fighting since US-led forces pushed deep into the city on Monday evening.

Doctors said people brought in at least 15 dead civilians at the main clinic in Falluja on Monday. By Tuesday, there were no clinics open, residents said, and no way to count casualties.

4. CIA Propagit working overtime
DR. Imad Jad, an Israeli affairs expert at the Al-Ahram
Studies Center, said the US had already airlifted 70
Iraqi scientists out of the country and placed them in areas
to make it difficult for them to “transfer information to anti-
US quarters.”

He said more than 310 Iraqi scientists have been killed so
far and most of them at the hands of Mossad agents working
in Iraq.

He said the Ahram Center estimated that nearly 17,000
Iraqi scientists working in various fields of knowledge have
fled the country since the US-led
invasion.

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article7199.htm
You'll never see this story in USmedia.

This "slaughterhouse story will never pan out"
Details in about 3 or so days.
But by then the Propagit office will have flitted on to
some other fear.

25. "white phosphorus"
Some artillery guns fired white phosphorous rounds that create a screen of fire that cannot be extinguished with water. Insurgents reported being attacked with a substance that melted their skin, a reaction consistent with white phosphorous burns.

Kamal Hadeethi, a physician at a regional hospital, said, "The corpses of the mujaheddin which we received were burned, and some corpses were melted."

""We have found hostage slaughterhouses in Fallujah that were used by these people and the black clothing that they used to wear to identify themselves, hundreds of CDs and whole records with names of hostages," the general said at a military camp near Fallujah.
...
"I did not look closely" at the documents, he said."

So, they have found some dark clothes (hoodies, anyone?), and hundreds of CDs (music? data?) and records with names (press clippings?, LP collection?). This sounds like propaganda, Republican style. Throw out some vague references, don't explain any further, but plant implications with no actual evidence produced. Use a puppet spokesman to enhance "credibility".

I can't believe anything from this crowd.

---same old, same old. Propaganda, lies and atrocity stories always obscure the actual events. Alleged acts against civilians are always used as a pretext to keep the punters at home happy with the war. They also serve to obscure all the actual atrocites.

The war is an atrocity. Waging war on a civilian population, attacking a city packed with civilians. The "terrorists" have all fled.

All these"facts"--let's see the videos and the exact location they claim and see if they match.
let's make sure these aren't "plants" before we state it as fact.
I guess the po 'lil media is just trying to pad the massacre of all those thousands of civilians.
On CBS news tonight they said the tanks blew up each block before the American troops would walk in.(showed footage)--think of how many people just happened to be huddled inside some of those buildings with their families terrified of the advancing invaders.

Remember Abu Garib? the background of the first beheading video matched the background of the prison down to the painted stripe in the hallway.

Fallujah--slaughterhouse where tens of thousands of innocent civilians happened to live.

also have to say to CBS--
Dan Rather's final commentary about the picture of the "soldier" in the "front lines" in Fallujah is SICK SHIT !!!
Glorifying the killing as some sort of NOBLE deed. The picture? weep?
Get Real Rather.

Also, a Fox News reporter embedded with India Company of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment said the unit found five bodies in a locked house in northwest Fallujah on Wednesday. All the victims were shot in the back of the head. Their identities were not known, although there were indications they were civilians, the report said.

At least nine foreigners are still in kidnappers' hands in Iraq, including British aid worker Margaret Hassan, French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot and an unidentified American worker for a Saudi company.
