These people are more concerned about the money to pay for these machines. This would be a great opportunity for any of our Duers in these two counties to contact the Commissioners about the security problems. Also note, Athens and Montgomery each have large colleges. Good time to get the students activated.

4. Check the links on Cursor.com
In a recent fund-raising letter to Republicans, the head of Diebold Inc., which is vying to sell its voting machines in Ohio, wrote that he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year." Plus: "It appears you can't throw a dead cat around the world of voting machines without hitting a conflict of interest."

5. Not Lobbyist - the CEO of Diebold
Edited on Thu Sep-04-03 04:12 PM by DEMActivist
None other than Wally O'Dell - CEO of the elections division of Diebold.

Pioneer fundraiser for George Bush; recipient of the "coveted" invitation to the pig ranch, no less.

He was holding a $10,000/plate fundraising luncheon for Shrub.
