'Scores of civilians' killed in Falluja

Muhammad Abbud said he watched his nine-year-old son bleed to death at their Falluja home, unable to take him to hospital as fighting raged in the streets and bombs rained down on the Iraqi city.

In the midst of a US onslaught and hemmed in by a round-the-clock curfew, he said he had little choice but to bury his eldest son, Ghaith, in the garden.

"My son got shrapnel in his stomach when our house was hit at dawn, but we couldn't take him for treatment," said Abbud, a teacher. "We buried him in the garden because it was too dangerous to go out. We did not know how long the fighting would last."

Residents say scores of civilians have been killed or wounded in 24 hours of fighting since US-led forces pushed deep into the city on Monday evening.

Doctors said people brought in at least 15 dead civilians at the main clinic in Falluja on Monday. By Tuesday, there were no clinics open, residents said, and no way to count casualties.

Since there has been no word on civilian casualties from the Reichsminister I thought I would present this as an alternative.
Remeber they wanted to close the hospital first so no word of civilian casualties would leak out

1. We are killing Women, infants, and Children
We had friends working in China forward the pictures of maimed women, kids, and infants from Iraq today. Like yours the post has disappeared. America/Bush media won't let us see the truth. The Babs Bush syndrome, "why would she want to darken up her beautiful mind" with pictures of dead kids. What a bitch.

We're just democracizing and liberating these people, right? God help us.

2. I don't understand what is wrong with our media. Nothing but reports
about American casualties not one word about the civilians and NO pictures.

4. And remember what rummy said
The war will end when Iraqis get tired of getting killed.

This is sheer madness!

6. As Chief Joseph Said
I will fight no more forever. The tribe has spoken. Is this what Bush wants to do to these people?

5. How many people did Saddam ACTUALLY kill during those years?
I don't think that they have proof of more that 3000 or so. That many are killed every month under our occupation.

The US passed Saddam's murder rate long ago. The difference is, Saddam did not promise them 'freedom is on the march' as he slaughtered them.

14. I'm sure of that
If I got word that the US military was coming after me in five days, I'd damned sure be long gone no later than the fourth.

15. Those monsters in the White House!
Well, we are "liberating" the Iraqis from the "evil" Saddam. That's what's important. (/sarcasm)

Bush, you will never get away with this you son of a bitch!

16. No need to worry
Stormin Normin told Matthews tonight that there were no civilians left in Fallujah. These guys count on the public's stupidity.

How do they think they evacuated? In a fairly organized country like ours where we still have communication, cell phones, water, the people in FLorida had trouble finding a place to go.

So how did people who have no access to the outside world, no gasoline and nowhere to go that is safe, evacuate?

22. Is this the same Stormin' Normin?...
That allowed Saddam's helicopters to do fly overs and wreck havoc on those who dared to rise up and follow Papa Bu$h's encouragement, to do so, at the end of Desert Storm?

What a pathetic piece of shit.

24. Don't the Iraqis refer to it as the "highway of death"?
There are some photos and film of that aftermath that should have had us in the Hague years ago.

17. I would imagine Muhammad Abbud...
has already started taking shots at our troops. I can't really blame him, I would do the same. Falluja = exponential growth of the insurgency.
