2. Chuck Schumer said same thing
many latinos who don't agree with Bush on most issues voted for him because of "values" but specifically gay marriage isue.

5. The Hispanic vote is up for grabs
it's not an automatic liberal vote.

My neighborhood, which is very liberal, is also about 40% Latino. There are five gay households on my block, and when I did some canvassing here two years ago (on a zoning issue), the number one complaint I recieved from the Hispanic households I talked to was the number of gays who lived in the neighborhood.

What Schumer said is true in my experience.
