The prime minister: Watching 'with interest'

Tony Blair has refused to comment on the US presidential election until it becomes clear who has won the contest.

With George Bush widely tipped for a second term in the White House, the result now rests on the state of Ohio.

The White House has said it thinks Mr Bush has won, but Democratic rival John Kerry has so far refused to concede.

At his weekly Prime Minister's Questions in the House of Commons Mr Blair said he awaited the outcome of the US election "with interest".

I think that if Blair had not been so supportive of Bush, Kerry would have had way better chances.

I am going to vote tactically at the next election to remove my Labour MP. I am going to vote Conservative for that purpose (the COnservative leader does not like Bush, so their is a plus to it).
