Parents (In Cincinnati) Torn Between Trick-Or-Treat, Bush Rally
Trick-or-treat or President George W. Bush (news - web sites)?

It's a question that's haunting many Bush supporters.

They don't want to upset their children, but they don't want to miss the rally, either. The Bush campaign is encouraging parents to do both at the Great American Ballpark.

<snip>

Some parents are excited about the event, but aren't sure what they're doing Sunday evening. Nikki Yasbeck picked up tickets Thursday morning, but is undecided about going.

"We wish it was an afternoon event," Yasbeck said. "It's right in the middle of trick-or-treating in Cincinnati and it's a big deal."

Three-year-old Kye has been counting down the days until Halloween. His dad said the holiday is bigger than Christmas to him, which is why he cancelled his plans to attend the rally.

3. They'll definitely be tricked at the Bush rally
I wish these idiots would read a small list of all the negative things done by Bush. Then, after that they should read the big list.

5. What an obvious attempt to make it seem like a big deal
OOOOHHHH, 3000 tickets already in one day? Gosh, at that rate, it might be up to 20,000!!!!

NOTICE at the END they provide a link for information about tickets--plus a link to the local station's website.

Have you EVER seen this much hype and help given to get people to a Kerry rally?

NO!!!!!!!!! And yet 100,000 show up in Philly and over 80,000 in Madison. And they UNDERPLAY it.

THE MEDIA ARE RUINING OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!!

7. I can't believe it's even a problem
This is a simple thing to figure. YOU ARE PARENTS FIRST!!!
Jesus Christ you idiots! If there was a working brain cell between those ears they could figure this one out for themselves. Really.
Spent a lot of time in Cincy the past twenty years. The mores of that city are strange. Knowing that city and some of it's citizens as I do as I am not at all surprised this is a quandry for them.

9. But, I thought they didn't celebrate "Halloween" on Sunday.
Isn't that the "Devil's Day"?

If they go to the rally, they will be in for a real trick by the devil himself!

would vote for that asshole chimp in the first place, their children should be taken away from them because they are unfit parents.
