BAGHDAD, Oct 25 (Reuters) - A U.S. soldier was killed and five were wounded when a roadside bomb exploded in western Baghdad on Monday, the U.S. military said.

5. that number needs to continue to go down
so that the *Co's number can rise /sarcasm

That number only takes into consideration those that are killed in "hostile" actions - the others aren't really dead /sarcasm again (?)

Maybe the news media thinks that they can convince viewers/readers that 2 + 2 = .5

Can't seem to get a grip onmy attitude today - guess we might have a few less dead soldiers if we had secured those explosives.

ONE SOLDIER KILLED, FIVE WOUNDED BY ROADSIDE BOMB

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- One Task Force Baghdad Soldier died and five others were wounded Oct. 25, when an improvised explosive device detonated at about 11:15 a.m. in western Baghdad.

A two-and-a-half-ton truck was also damaged in the blast. The injured were evacuated to a nearby military medical facility.

The incident is under investigation.
