'I kept my word,' Bush tells crowd (IA)
Des Moines Register does a write up of Bush's appearance in my hometown yesterday.
Mason City, Ia. - President Bush touted himself as a man of his word Wednesday, reminding a crowd of 4,000 supporters about promises he made four years ago when campaigning in Iowa, and maintaining he's fulfilled them.

"I kept my word," Bush said repeatedly at a morning rally held at the North Iowa Fairgrounds in Mason City.
needless to say, i'm just sick with depression that my neighbors would fall for this crap.

2. really.
well, you can't do anything about the sheep that buy into the crap.

They have predetermined that they want to believe whatever authority has to say, no matter how preposterous.

It's not going to change anyone's vote at this point so I wouldn't worry about it. The majority of America who knows he's full of shit are about to hand him his ass on a platter.

5. Yes.
The hard"core" will vote * even if he steps into the street tomorrow with an AK-47 and starts mowing down his own believers. They'll just figure it was god's will for them to die.

It is no longer a time to be anxious. Now is the time to be active.

Seriously there isn't a whole lot of difference between LOL "fiscal responsibility" mindset of Juan Peron & Bushies.

Not to mention these are both scary, fascist, bank-rupting regimes.

11. No, he effing did not!
President Bush will end his four-year term having fulfilled about 46 percent of the promises he made during the 2000 presidential campaign, according to an analysis by Knight Ridder.

Progress on Bush's campaign to-do list - 178 specific commitments - slowed almost to halt in 2004 as election-year politics intruded on legislative activity. With time running out on his four-year contract, Bush's hopes for overhauling the nation's legal system, revamping Social Security and enacting a new national energy policy now depend on the outcome of the November election.

This list of promises was drawn from speeches and policy papers issued during Bush's first presidential campaign. It includes items large and small, with equal weight given to all. Some required congressional action. Others went into effect by executive order.
http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/9969749.htm

Clinton, by comparison, achieved 66% of his promises, and that's without benefit of controlling both houses of congress and the Supreme Court.
