Mrs Bush admits husband's errors

First Lady Laura Bush admitted in a TV interview that her husband had made some mistakes as President of the United States .

But she would not be drawn into saying exactly what he had done wrong.

In the hour-long talk with CNN chat show host Larry King, Mrs Bush also said she feared another close call in next month's presidential election.

When asked if it was strange that her husband had never admitted making mistakes, she replied: "Well, no, I mean, he said, of course, he made mistakes. And that's what he said.

4. Looks like the couch for Pickles

One of the biggest "thou shalt nots" in the Bush Crime Family is "Thou shalt not admit error." Is it strange that Stupidhead has never admitted to making a mistake? Laura at first says, "No." But her Bush pedigree is merely through marriage, and she felt the need to expand on the answer: "Of course, he made mistakes." Then, remembering her vow of omerta, she declines to specify what those might be.

She might get off with a temporary reprimand for her momentary lapse. But I wouldn't fly in any small planes if I were in her clunky old pumps.

What he said was "I picked some wrong people for my cabinet" I may have a word or two wrong but that was the gist of it....

What he really should have said was... I wish I hadn't picked anyone to be on my cabinet who couldn't turn off their consciences.... look the other way.... make allowances.... compromise themselves for my good.... sellout... turn to the darkside.... or generally just see me as infallible like I told them to.
