Kerry: Bush, Cheney in Denial About Iraq

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites) said Thursday that President Bush (news - web sites) and Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) have failed to recognize a deteriorating situation in postwar Iraq (news - web sites) and "may well be the last two people on the planet who won't face the truth."

In his strongest statement yet, the Democratic presidential nominee said if Bush fails to recognize the severity of problems in Iraq, the situation could become as chaotic as the Middle East was in the early 1980s.

"If the president just does more of the same every day and it continues to deteriorate, I may be handed Lebanon, figuratively speaking," Kerry said at a brief news conference.

1. Kerry will inherit a steaming pile allright!
Unless Dems win back Congress the morass will only get worse. With scumbags like Frist ("Frist family of medicare fraud"), and Bugman Delay leading the majority Kerry will be handcuffed. What a way to start the new century.....

2. Kerry Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The whore CNN FOX MSNBC media may call a statement like this too wordy, but fuck.... I love it.

Kerry then looked into the camera and posed his challenge directly to Bush.

"Mr. President, the American people deserve more than spin about this war," he said. "They deserve facts that represent reality, not carefully polished arguments and points that are simply calculated to align with a preconceived perception."
