New Burger King CFO worked at Halliburton, Enron
plus, his name is Burgher, lol.

http://www.kltv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2356309

DES MOINES, Iowa Burger King named Halliburton Treasurer Cedric Burgher as its chief financial officer today.

The 44-year-old had been appointed treasurer at Halliburton only last June. He fills a position last held by Burger King President John Chidsey.

Before being named its treasurer, Burgher was vice president of investor relations at the Houston energy-services firm. He came to Halliburton in 2001 from Enron.

Miami-based Burger King is owned by Texas Pacific Group, Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.

5. Start placing your bets, everyone. How long before the BK scandal?
Certainly within 5 years, there will be a major financial scandal involving BK. Corporate governance has become feudal, with senior executives granted 'titles' on the basis of genealogy, ideology or nepotism rather than experience or achievement.

14. Never eat there again. Go for the Hot Dog and drink for $1.50 at Costco
It's a big juicy Sinai Kosher Dog and you get a refill on the drink. You can load that dog up with relish and onions too from those nifty dispensers Costco has.

17. Whoppers now cost $11.50
And you don't get them at the drive-up window, they deliver them on Halliburton trucks. In three to four weeks. Please pay in advance. And don't forget to tip the delivery driver.

19. So does BK have the food contract for troops in Iraq now?
Let's see, we expose them to DU, we send them in with no decent body armor, and our humvees have no steel plates. The last thing left is to feed them a steady diet of shitty food full of fat so we can kill them off that way too. Gotta save costs on vets using those VA benefits, don't ya know...

Oh, and BTW, everybody needs one of those yellow ribbon car magnets and a flag on the antenna too.

::sarcasm off::
