Judge Rules Reservist Must Report for Duty
RALEIGH, N.C. -- A man who served the eight years required under his ROTC contract remains an Army reservist obliged to report for active duty because he failed to sign a resignation letter, a federal judge has ruled.

Todd Parrish, 31, had sought to block the Army from calling him to active duty until his lawsuit on the issue was decided.

But Judge Louise Flanagan denied the request on Friday, meaning that if the Army denies Parrish's administrative appeal, he could be forced to go on active duty while the case is litigated.

Parrish signed the ROTC contract while a student at North Carolina State University. He argued that his military obligation ended Dec. 19, following four years of active duty and four years in the reserves.

2. OK, time to pull Shrubby back into the National Guard
to finish out his service. He owes it to the nation.

May I suggest he be assigned to Gitmo or Abu Gharaib, so that he can see first hand what he hath wrought. Or, assign him to visiting and informing the families who have lost sons or daughters while fighting the BushCo Oil War. Let him see their faces and experience the depth of their grief.

5. Why? He'd just tell them...
...to take a pill and get over it.

Those families don't deserve that.

4. If Mr. Parrish is forced to go, then I expect Mr. Bush will be called
up to finish his obligation to TANG, in fact his unit is currently in the Gulf.

Plain and simple. “All people who support Bush are dirty immoral Americans.”

You have a boy like this who served for 8 years! Bush hid from Vietnam because his father had him illegally placed into a Champaign National Guard unit where Bush only got drunk and did drugs. He failed to fulfill his duty. He went AWOL. He never flew a mission. He wasted millions of our taxpayers money. He lied about his entire time in the Guard.

Kerry had received 4 medals in Vietnam combat. He came back and opposed the war. Opposed rich snot nosed Bush type kids from hiding while normal boys went and died in Vietnam for nothing. Sounds honorable to me.

Why doesn't Kerry say that this is part of what he came back and protested in America? He protest to cowards like Bush who hid!
