Army Times: Yee to receive honorable discharge
http://www.armytimes.com/story.php?f=1-292925-357996.php
SEATTLE — A Muslim chaplain imprisoned for 76 days in solitary confinement and then cleared in an espionage probe will receive an honorable discharge. Capt. James J. Yee was notified in writing that his request to be discharged Jan. 7, 2005, had been approved, his lawyer, Eugene R. Fidell of Washington D.C., said Wednesday.
...
The Army initially linked the chaplain to a possible espionage ring, later charging him with mishandling classified material, failing to obey an order, making a false official statement, adultery and conduct unbecoming an officer.

In March, Army officials dismissed all criminal charges against Yee, but found him guilty of the non-criminal Army charges of adultery and downloading pornography. The reprimand he received was thrown out by an Army general a month later.

“It’s right that he be leaving the Army with a clean record,” Fidell said. “It’s a tragedy because he had so much to offer the Army.”

1. And the Rightwingers are silent
Yee was railroaded but they don't believe that.

And god-forbid they discuss the meaning of "Honorable Discharge" if they do not believe it.

I have evidence he's a sexual predator. Just to clarify that, what I mean is that I have some doubts about the quality of his personal hygiene. That is to say, he and I always been great buddies but if he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore, what can I do about it?
