US-led troops die in Afghanistan

Two soldiers of the US-led coalition in Afghanistan have been killed in a gun battle, the US military has said.
Two others were slightly wounded in the exchange, in the south-eastern province of Paktika.

The military added that six Afghan national army soldiers had been evacuated from the scene.

The attack comes amid concerns about security for next month's elections, as the Taleban, al-Qaeda and other groups threaten disruption.
