Srinagar - Indian troops shot dead 10 Islamic militants in clashes across Indian-administered Kashmir on Friday night and on Saturday, officials said.
Five militants were killed when the army raided a suspected hideout in the southwestern Poonch district on Saturday, a defence ministry spokesperson said.
A police spokesperson said four more rebels were shot dead in two gunbattles overnight in the northern Baramulla district, while another was killed on Saturday near Qazigund, 80km south of the summer capital Srinagar.
