Iraq Peace May Cost More Lives Than War
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20030825/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq_soldier_deaths&cid=540&ncid=1480

BAGHDAD, Iraq - With the announcement Monday of the latest U.S. death, the number of troops killed in Iraq by combat or accident reached 138, matching the number of troops killed before President Bush declared an end to major combat in the country on May 1.

What do these people mean "may"? :grr:

1. today, I hope, that photo-op begins to be an embarassment
if more soldiers die after the "major" combat is over, than before, doesn't that make the chimp's scrotum dance (lol, mike malloy) seem even more ridiculous? Methinks that op will become absolutely worthless as a campaign item

except for the Dem to use

5. They'll use it.
Their arrogance is astonishing. They used a picture of * in the flight suit for press passes quite recently.

6. And in 1-2 days
That "may" will become "has" when another soldier dies, and another one WILL die in the next couple days. Let's see how that goes over with the voters.

7. When Rove told Smirk to 'promote' the war in Iraq,
... Commandeer Codpiece thought he'd promote it from major combat to general combat. :eyes:
