MI5 machete attack man remanded
BBC News snip:
A man charged after an attack left two security guards injured at MI5 headquarters has been remanded in custody following a court appearance.

William Cornford, 41, of no fixed address, faced two counts of aggravated burglary and one of attempted robbery.

He appeared on Monday in Horseferry Road Magistrates' Court following Friday's incident involving a machete which left the guards with cuts.

No bail application was made and the case was adjourned until 14 September.
