Bush bash angers neighbours - SA
US ambassador Cameron Hume is facing the wrath of his neighbours after the banquet he arranged for President George Bush at his official residence in the upmarket suburb of Waterkloof caused severe disruptions.

Military historian Dr Janice Farquharson lives opposite the ambassador's residence in Aries Street. She said police and security vehicles had caused "severe disruptions" in the neighbourhood and hampered traffic flow from as early as 14:00.

The situation deteriorated when a number of streets were closed at 18:00. Anyone who had appointments elsewhere, such as Farquharson, had to walk to the perimeter of the cordon to be picked up there.

Farquharson said many residents were disturbed and even kept awake by the sea of flashing blue lights and "police helicopters which flew back and forth the whole night".

"Worst of all, no one was notified in advance or offered an apology for the inconvenience."

1. How much money was spent on this 'bash' and how many African children could have been fed with the money?

2. How much money is being spent on the total trip?

3. Has Bush even met a normal African citizen?

1. Bush is the most hated world leader since Hitler.
It takes a big security force to protect his worthless ass. No wading into the adoring crowds like Clinton.

2. He wouldn't dare walk into a crowd.
If he did, his handlers would get bits and pieces back.

3. Crybabies. Let them eat cake.
The Bu$h royal entourage must be protected! After all, he is TMHMITW (The Most Hated Man in the World).

4. Has Bush even met a normal
African citizen? I doubt he's even met a normal (regular) American citizen!

The Big Dog knew the problems us regular every-day folks face. Bush does not have a clue, and is not interested in finding one.

5. I think that the last time he was face to face with

an African American he saud something to the effect "Who cares what you think?"
