Bush Urges Kerry to Say Yes-Or-No on Iraq
-snip
President Bush challenged Democratic rival John Kerry on Friday to give a yes-or-no answer about whether he would have supported the invasion of Iraq "knowing what we know now" about the failure to find weapons of mass destruction.
"I have given my answer," Bush told a cheering crowd. "We did the right thing and the world is better off for it."

"Now, there are some questions that a commander in chief needs to answer with a clear yes or no," Bush said. "My opponent hasn't answered the question of whether, knowing what we know now, he would have supported going into Iraq. That's an important question and the American people deserve a clear yes or no answer."

The American people deserve a President who doesn't send their soldiers to die over oil. Fuckwad.

2. This is the wrong question.
The right question is, "What are you going to do to get us out of Iraq?"?

8. Kerry already addressed this on 60 Minutes
The show tried to bait him, put him on the defensive with the "flip flop" crap.

He said his original "yes" vote was based on believing the president, who believed in the "faulty intelligence."

Once Kerry realized something was rotten in Denmark, he felt that the time to blindly follow Bush had passed. He said (not a quote, but close) "When you realize you've made a mistake, you DO change your course."

Big Dog also addressed Bush's "concerns" at the DNC, if you remember:

5. Kerry..
should answer "having been misled by you and your administration along with the American public, your question doesn't deserve an answer". I don't take kindly to being lied to.

The American public won't know the truth until you're out of office, Mr. President. All we know until then is that you lied to us.

Once we find out the whole truth, we'll move forward accordingly.

7. Listen, you freakin' idiot..
"Now, there are some questions that a commander in chief needs to answer with a clear yes or no,"

How about "Were you AWOL in May '72? Did you do drugs? Did Cheney do business with Iraq, Iran, Libya? Did you engage in insider trading? Can you string more than 5 words together in one sentence?

9. The answer is NO. I would have finished the job in Afghanistan and
actually gotten OBL and while that was going on the inspectors that were in Iraq would have come to the same conclusion we are at now, there are NO WMD's therefore Saddam is/was NOT A THREAT, and anyone who can't understand that would jump the gun and let OBL get away to plot further attacks and start a war that kills over 900 of our service men and women and be no further along in the war on terra than we are today!

11. I urge Bush to say "yes" or "no " on his cocaine use
and whether or not he paid for an ex-girlfriend to have an abortion. And if he slept with hookers and skipped out on his Guard Duty.

12. this jerk--who does he think he is--forcing a yes or no answer
Edited on Fri Aug-06-04 06:06 PM by Marianne
as if he is capable of this kind of a challenge.

All he knows is black and white and yes or no.

The American people deserve to kick his sorry ass out of the White House--he never was elected in the first place--he brought them into two wars that are failed wars and so many of our young and innocent Iraqi civilians, maimed and killed because of his black and white, yes or no, fraudulent attack on a defenseless country. He lied. He lied, He lied.

Further, he himself deserted from his own military service and now wants to think, in his delusion, that he is up to challenging a real war veteran. Who the hell does he think he is? He cannot run this country and he cannot survive against any person of normal intelligence. He cannot even utter a coherent sentence, much less lead this country . He is an incompetant idiot and a moron.
