Police have launched an investigation after the body of a female constable was found at work. Officers say they are treating the death of Amoreena Adams, 32, who was shot, as a suspected suicide.
A police Glock pistol was found by her body in a basement room at Territorial Policing HQ building at Victoria Embankment in central London on Sunday.
Pc Adams worked with the Diplomatic Protection Group and was based at Canon Row Police Station as an armourer.
Two notes from the deceased have been found in her belongings, police said.
