5. 917 coalition deaths, 11,306 to 13,305 Iraqi deaths ....
No offence intended, just thought I'd add the number of Iraqi deaths, since they seem to get ignored quite a lot.

3. And the media are silent.
It is a true crime that they are protecting Bush by not honoring the losses of our soldiers.

4. But things are getting better Shrub assured the nation
I read in one of the articles posted in DU a US soldier's telling statement that the fight can't be won period-so then why doesn't the "liberal" media ask why did these soldiers die-they lost their youth, their future, their family-for what?

7. My good friend has a son in Iraq. He says...
his son is scared every single day, and he's been there 7 months, without a break. His son emails home about the incompetence of American leadership, about the futility of this war, and about how we have to get Bush OUT.

An example: A new shipment of squad automatic weapons just arrived. This soldier wanted to test-fire them all, to make sure they were in working order. His commanding officer told him it was unnecessary. Now, this soldier is also a cop in civilian life, and he said he'd never take a weapon into a crisis without knowing it actually worked. But here he was, being overruled by an idiot officer.

Another example: This young man talks about how the brass risked this squad's life three times last month, making them travel the dangerous road into Baghdad to attend some stupid ceremonial event. Once, it was for a "patch award ceremony." They're risking their lives just to watch some guys get awards for bravery.

He wants to come home so badly...

8. He'll get his chance soon
Kerry's people will not ignore the Morale Problem. That is what happens in an immoral illegal war.

13. They are all scared, and they shouldnt have ever gone
this war is a fraud, and not one person should have died, soldier or civilian..
in the meantime, Bush's friends are wealthier every day.
give your friend this site, he isnt alone. There are thousands of families with a loved one over there, including mine.

10. 919 now
actual number who the cheney knows. Pipelines bombed, religious leaders attacked, political terror alerts at home, this resembles something swirling in the bowl.
