9/11 Panelists Rebut Cheney on Information
WASHINGTON, July 6 - The leaders of the commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks on Tuesday disputed Vice President Dick Cheney's suggestion that he probably had access to more intelligence than the commission did about possible ties between the Qaeda terrorist network and Iraq.

In a one-sentence statement, the panel's chairman and vice chairman said that "after examining available transcripts of the vice president's public remarks, the 9/11 commission believes it has access to the same information the vice president has seen regarding contacts between Al Qaeda and Iraq prior to the 9/11 attacks."

2. I don't understand it!
Why does some sweet old grandma spontaneously combust in her livingroom easy chair, yet someone like Cheney is allowed to remain intact? There is no god.

3. So Dick C heney is a goddamn liar, what else is new?
What I want to know, is when are we going to THROW HIS SORRY ASS IN PRISON.

Why be polite to that sob? Why don't they just charge him with war profiteering?

Why is it: 'Oh no, Mister Cheney. We beg to disagree...in fact, we believe you are mistaken'.

Hey, he isn't 'mistaken'! He is a lying, war profiteering, Plame-outing son-of-a-bitch, who should be thrown in prison with the biggest, baddest, bubba we can find for a cell-mate.

4. Prison is too good for him...
I saw 'The Mummy' the other night. The punishment dished out at the beginning of the movie would work for me.

7. Remember he said he "probably" has info that they lack . . .
Let's see if the media forces the issue and calls his bluff to produce the 'evidence'.

Reading about this nonsense and the Edmonds case (and the Padilla case, and the Energy Task Force case), I really feel that this administration wants to operate in total secrecy, to claim the ability to act on private information.

Where is the media? Too busy scouring F911 for inaccuracies --- they don't bother to think twice about what the administration says.

Edited on Wed Jul-07-04 01:17 AM by Roy
When there is no one who will call them liars.

When you think about it.... why not it's working!!!!!!

They will lie until someone begin to throw the lies in their faces, and until each lie is exposed as such in embarrassing ways.
