Imagine the stupidity, the sheer fucking arrogance, of setting up shop in Saddam's most notorious prison and then torturing people in it...all the while taking digital pictures that can be spread far and wide.

2. This has been known since the story broke

Whether they will allow them to be shown or not, I think, depends upon how hard BushCo fights it. They will go down, hopefully the world doesn't have to see these images and hate the US even more... I am conflicted, I personally think that they should be shown to show what depths even a "democracy" can go to if it's leaders are not held accountable.

I agree that it would be huge. No question. But nothing yet suggests that the pictures are about to be forthcoming.

If they are... I would guess that it would by Sy Hersh who breaks it (given he is the source of the comments and thus speculation.)
