WARREN, Mich. (AP) - A Roman Catholic priest was arrested in an Internet sex sting after allegedly arranging to meet someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

The Rev. Shamaun Beas, 35, was charged with offenses including sexually abusive activity involving a child and using a computer to commit a crime. The charges carry up to 20 years in prison. He was jailed on $5 million bail.

Ridder pled to his crime and he was arrested for exactly the same thing (meeting a police woman who had posed as an underage girl). In point of fact, there is more evidence of Ridder's guilt due to the plea than there is of this priest's.

8. Funny How We Don't Talk About That

It pissed me off to no end, during the height of the ped scandal to see one group of people blame it on homosexuality, and another group say it was a good reason for admitting openly homosexual priests.

But no one gives a shit when it's the girl-children who get the great mind-fuck.

Actually, it used to be a far greater number of girls and women (than boys ormen) were sexually abused by priests.

I don't know if any of that's changed, though.

However, it was considered more "normal" so there was less said about priests haveing sex with girls or women.
