20-year-old Illinois man reported dead in Iraq (died in his sleep?)
Associated Press

An Illinois soldier was found dead in his barracks in Iraq Friday morning, the 20-year-old's family said.

Pvt. Matthew Bush, of East Alton, died of unknown causes, his father Randy said. He said a military representative said the Army private couldn't be roused for duty.

``His battle buddy tried to get him up to go on duty and they couldn't get him awake,'' Randy Bush said in a telephone interview from his East Alton home.

Defense Department spokesman Sgt. Richard Ruiz said he could not confirm Bush's death to The Associated Press. Family members said they expect more details soon.

``How does a 20-year-old man go to sleep and then not wake up?'' Bush's mother Barbara Bush, a resident of Wood River, told The (Alton) Telegraph. ---

3. Allergic reaction to the vacines?
That coupled with pulling guard duty in a hostile environment where it is 120 degrees, can put a lot of stress on a person. I remember in Infantry School, we had to do a 25 mile road march and a couple of guys collasped from heat exhaustion.

Just because they are young dosn't mean that they are in shape.

6. Probably not vaccine-relatted
If it were due to a reaction to the vaccine, he should have reacted well before now, since the soldiers were vaccinated when they were still in the States months ago.

Heat stroke plus an undiagnosed heart condition? Sleeping in 100F weather can do that.
