SCANDAL OF IRAQI PoWs - Red Cross accused Blair/Bush of breacking G.C.
THE Red Cross yesterday accused Tony Blair and George Bush of breaching the Geneva Convention over the shabby treatment of Iraqi prisoners of war.

The humanitarian organisation said the true number of PoWs and their whereabouts was unknown, family visits have been denied and there was no system in place to monitor arrests or pass on details to the Red Cross.

A high-ranking official of the International Committee of the Red Cross said: "It is an obligation of the occupying power to notify us of any arrests but that's not happening. We are not receiving anything like full information on prisoners of war.

"There is no proper notification. No organisation. There is not the will to resolve this issue.

"Talks are now taking place at the highest level and if we don't make progress then we will be merciless in fighting our corner."

The shocking series of complaints made by the ICRC include:

1. War Crimes, War Crimes
Rolly polly War Crimes, War Crimes, War Crimes, eat them up, yum!

There seems to be a extra large load of smelly stuff coming out on the Shrubs regime this morning. I wonder if any of it will stick.

4. Has anyone heard anything else about the pix
remember a month or so ago...the British soldier who took pix to the one hour shop and the woman at the shop called the police because, when she developed the pictures, she saw the soldier had taken pictures of Brits forcing prisoners to either fake or actually give some soldier a blow job?

And the other picture posing the prisoners engaging in anal sex?

and the other picture of the prisoner who was tied from head to toe and dangled from the end one of those machines used to move equipment?

Did that ever make the America press? I don't remember.

seems to me this is another pickle for Bush. is the war over?

then rule of the Geneva convention tell them to release prisoners...mission accomplished, said the cod piece.

...or is this guerilla war, an ongoing conflict, degenerating, in fact, into probable civil war...in which case America is still at war, and ooooops....but Karl thought the cod piece tailhook was such a good piece of propaganda...such a feel good moment for the AWOL asshole..

things sure are different when your daddy and his fixers can't control the process, huh, Dubya?

5. Were these pics ever confirmed?
I mean you have to be AMAZINGLY stupid (worse off than Bush) to be soldier, commit those kinds of crimes with POWs, and then dropping them off at a civilian photo shop to be developed!

6. Well, now that we're building "death chambers"...
... this problem should just take care of itself (include those nine pesky British citizens). My only questions is; will we be sending a bill to the families for the Zyklon-B?

8. Since...
"the war is over" ("Mission accomplished", said Mr. Bush), wouldn't people arrested now be treated as common criminals? As such, do they fall under the GC?

Don't PoWs have to have been captured in uniform in order to get GC protection? If they aren't in uniform, aren't they "enemy combatants" or "partisans" subject to summary execution upon capture if armed?

Talk about a clusterfuck...

9. the Bush*/Blair axis of evil violated the Geneva Conventions?!
Gee, who'da thunk it?

Personally, I think Bush* has a fresh copy of the Geneva Protocols delivered to him each morning so he can take a long, satisfying piss on them before breakfast.
