Stay out of Iraq, says SA's foreign affairs
A South African civilian was killed on Friday in the volatile Iraqi town of Falluja, the South African foreign ministry said.

The death brought to six the total number of South African civilians killed in Iraq since the conflict began, foreign ministry spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said. He said he had no further details on the death.

"At this stage we can confirm that a sixth South African was killed today in Falluja," Mamoepa said.

"While government extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, we wish to reiterate our call on South Africans not to go to Iraq during this current conflict for the sake of their families and their children."
