Bush finishes 4-hour visit ( another two-fer)
Bush finishes 4-hour visit
Morning speech emphasizes technology, while visit raises $1 million
BY JIM RAGSDALE

President Bush made a four-hour policy and fundraising visit to the Twin Cities Monday morning, talking up community colleges to a group of educators and raising an estimated $1 million at the home of an Edina developer.

At 12:54 p.m., Air Force One departed Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

The trip was a typical presidential two-fer, combining official business with politics, allowing the taxpayers to bear some of the costs of the visit. Bush was upbeat in his official remarks, which focused on the importance of community colleges and the need for technological innovation.

1. I thought I heard they were planning on raking in 3 million. If so, they
fell a little short. Maybe people are sick of seeing their money go to killing civilians and American troops. Maybe they're seeing through the lies.

Although I admit, a million isn't pocket change.

7. Headline: "Bush* Fundraiser Falls $Millions Short!!"
Yes he was supposed to raise $3Million at this fundraiser!!

If the media did a job on Bush like they do on Dems, the headline would point out THIS FACT. Bush could only raise ONE/THIRD of what he expected.

9. The sky darkened in Minnesota today
when that asshole was here. I could feel the environment and righteous people shrinking away from him. And if he only raised 1/3 of what he was supposed to, FABULOUS.

10. It was rumored
okay I heard it on the radio... That one house in the neighborhood his fund raiser was held in had a sign in the yard that said "Bush lied, soldiers died."

I hope this is true.
