Medical Marijuana Resolution Picks Up Senate Sponsor - FL
Source: The Florida Independant

State Rep. Jeff Clemens‘ joint resolution allowing Floridians to vote on whether they want to legalize medical marijuana in the state during the 2012 election has picked up a Senate sponsor.

State Sen. Larcenia Bullard, D-Miami, has introduced a resolution proposing the creation of articles in the state constitution that would “allow the medical use of cannabis by citizens.”

Clemens, D-Lake Worth, told Capitol News Service that the topic of medical marijuana is “a compassion issue.”

1. Another Opportunity For The President

Florida can be next in the states targeted by the feds for a medical marijuana crackdown, once they're finished shutting down all the shops in California that is.

3. I hope that Florida can get in that line.
We actually need to have providers in place before the feds can move to shut them down. Hopefully all 50 states will gang up on the feds and get the entire controlled substances act repealed. We need to vote all prohibitionists out too. This whole militarizing the police and turning them against the people thing really isn't working out. Neither is the land of the free having the most people in prison and then slaving them out to private corporations a good thing.
