PSU taps ex-FBI director Freeh for investigation
Source: CBSSports.com wire reports

PHILADELPHIA -- Former FBI director Louis Freeh is promising a thorough, independent investigation into policies and activities at Penn State that relate to the child sex-abuse allegations against former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky.

Freeh said Monday that his investigation will go beyond the timeframe laid out in a grand jury report released earlier this month. The report alleges a series of sexual assaults by Sandusky, some on Penn State's campus.

Freeh vowed to investigate activities stretching back to the mid-1970s.

Retired Air Force Col. and astronaut Guion Bluford will be part of the investigation. Bluford is a 1964 Penn State graduate.

20. Justices Scalia and Thomas.
In fact, Scalia, Thomas, and Freeh all belong to the same chapter. A prior member of same chapter was Robert Hanssen, FBI member who spied for Russia/USSR. He prayed with the Justices and Director while stealing state secrets for 22 years.

Note: Supremes Alito and Roberts are also rumored to be Opus Dei.

26. Freeh was granted Italian citizenship in 2009..and..
Ex-FBI director Freeh granted Italian citizenship

WASHINGTON — Louis Freeh, the former head of the FBI, is now an Italian citizen.
Officials at the Italian Embassy in Washington say Freeh was made a citizen at a ceremony Friday.
An announcement on the embassy's Web site says Freeh was granted citizenship based on his close work with Italian authorities in fighting organized crime.
Before becoming FBI director in 1993, Freeh was a prosecutor who went after organized crime members in the United States and Italy.
Freeh eventually left the director's job in 2001. According to Italian officials, Freeh's maternal grandfather came to the United States in 1870 from the province of Avellino. Freeh retains his U.S. citizenship.

Extended Interview With Louis Freeh
Former FBI Director, now attorney to Prince Bandar

Link to Article and Video: "The Business of Bribes"

~Snip~

As the head of his own global consulting firm, Freeh Group International, Louis Freeh has been hired by Prince Bandar as his legal representative on issues surrounding the Al-Yamamah arms deal. Lowell Bergman interviewed Louis Freeh on March 19, 2009 about allegations -- that Freeh insists are untrue -- that his client received approximately $2 billion and a wide-body Airbus 340 from arms company BAE Systems as part of the massive arms contract. Freeh finally agreed to be interviewed just weeks before our airdate, following months of requests by FRONTLINE for interviews with both Freeh and Prince Bandar.

27. Wikipedia states that Freeh is not Opus Dei,FWIW.
He is a devout Roman Catholic, although is not a member of the Opus Dei prelature (as rumors have stated).<5><6> According to The Bureau and the Mole, a book by David A. Vise, Freeh's son was enrolled at the private The Heights School in Potomac, Maryland, which Vise describes as "an Opus Dei academy".<7>

31. Once Opus Dei always Opus Dei.
JFTR - I hate Louie because he worked so hard for certain House Republicans to get Clinton impeached. He is a religious ideologue and should never have been appointed head of the FBI. His appointment was rammed down Clinton's throat by Democratic Senators who were jealous of the hayseed from Arkansas.

The only way to know for sure if he is still Opus Dei is to waterboard Freeh, Scalia or Thomas. His wiki entry doesn't mean a damn thing.

It is perfect that he is now an Italian citizen.

By now everyone involved, indicted or not, has contacted or retained lawyers. They will not talk and no one can force them to.

Freeh is a freaking Villager.

No way will he let the truth out of The Village.

This is a mASSive cover up.

Kinda like when AWOL Bush tried to appoint Henry Kissinger as Chairmain of the 9/11 Commission.

Totally f*cked up cover up.

on the panel.

Freeh won't touch a fellow believer. We got us a religious mafia here, among other things.

8. Ya Know...
I gotta wonder. Children are horribly abused every day. It is reported to authorities that chidren are horribly abused all the time. Stuff makes the papers regularly that is worse than this case. In my 6+ years in CPS, I never saw a former head of the FBI called to investigate. In fact, normally we would have to beg the police to investigate in other than a perfunctory manner and to do it before said child reached middle age. So what makes this case so special?

Maybe Freeh can team up with Lee Hamilton. They'll get to the bottom of it all. So I guess ten year old Pennsylvania boys can rest easy. Justice will be done.
