Two-week-old baby rescued alive from Turkish earthquake rubble

The mother of the infant was also alive but buried in the wreackage of their home and rescuers were trying to reach her, the reports said.

The rescue workers reached the baby, named Azra according to the reports, after hours of frantic digging and were working to free the mother whose name was given as Semiha. The father was missing, rescuers said.

Search teams working round the clock earlier Tuesday rescued a pregnant woman and her two children and also dug out a police officer and his wife from their collapsed homes.

It came as the death toll was revised to at least 366 people. Tens of thousands have also been made homeless.

it's just a shame that this country refuses the help of Israel which they accepted in the past. That country is great at this kind of rescue work. More people would be saved.
