Blast hits Egyptian gas pipeline to Israel
Source: Aljazeera

An explosion has destroyed an Egyptian gas pipeline in the Sinai that supplies Israel and Jordan, security sources and witnesses say.

The explosion happened west of the city of El Arish on Tuesday.

Witnesses said that flames as high as 15 metres could be seen rising from the pipeline.

4. They hate Jordan, too?
Egypt needs the income.

And it also needs to establish a central authority. If any interest group can blow up what they want, when they want...would you invest in this country?

Arab spring became about freedom but it began about jobs. It would help a lot if people remembered that.

6.  Some questions
1. Does Egypt sell oil to Israel? 2.Does Israel use the money we give them to buy Egyptian oil? 3.Do we give Egypt billions of dollars a year in aide?4.Why are we giving aide to either country?

7. I'm pretty sure the answer to the first 3 questions is "yes" and the...
...answer to #4 is somewhat debatable but the bulk of it can be traced back to the Camp David Accords, which were signed under Jimmy Carter.
