Cutter to leave White House for Obama campaign

Washington (CNN) – CNN has learned that Stephanie Cutter, deputy to White House senior adviser David Plouffe, and a veteran Democratic aide, will be leaving the West Wing to join the Obama re-election campaign, according to a source familiar with the move.

Cutter, who will take on a major role working for campaign manager Jim Messina, will depart toward the end of the year, the source said.

2. She is very very good.
Both on strategy and on tv. She knows what it takes to win. So does Plouffe.

As badly as the position Obama is in with the economy, I think we can at least be sure he'll have an excellent campaign. This wont be like Dukakis or Kerry. They will have a good strategy, the question will be if they can overcome a bad economy and how electable his opponent is.
