1. Dangerous stuff they work with in those labs
That's why lab supervision and following instructions is so important.

3. I watched two students in a hurry in Chem 101 expose moth
crystals in a beaker to direct flame contrary to direct instructions. They were supposed to place the beaker in boiling water to melt the crystals and pour them into a waste disposal bin as part of clean-up after a lab. The flames that shot up and sheets of soot that floated around the room were quite impressive.

5. LOL, sounds like the guys at the next lab table when I was in high school.
One of them later attended the Air Force Academy. Yeah, I'd like him at the controls of a jet. :scared:

9. If I did now, what I did back then.........
I admit, I did get sent home a few times, but those pranks would have gotten me a stiff prison sentence these days.

Getting singed a few times was all part of learning Chemistry.

13. Sad to say....
In Freshman year I lived in a dorm with the chem lab in the basement.
Something went wrong. Terribly wrong. The whole dorm smelled like someone lost his lunch.

when she screamed at me and threw into the back yard, the pan of rocket fuel I was cooking on the kitchen stove. I caught hell for ruining the pan too.:(
