18. The left is far more dangerous to government than its RW owners.
Ever see a photo of the cops breaking heads to protect John D. Rockefeller's interest against labor?

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

19. Don't hold your breath.
The people working on wall street pay their protection money (campaign contributions) so they're all immune to prosecution. They can do anything, and hurt anyone, and never get in any trouble for it.

The only people on wall street who are ever likely to be arrested are protesters. :(

The FBI doesn't exist to keep you and me safe. They're a political agency. They exist to protect the government, corporations, and "important people."

We only exist to them as potential suspects and people to push around.

27. The main reason the FBI exists is to protect Wall St. crooks and banksters.
Why would they make arrests on Wall St?

21. Even then. But then your choices have consequences for Others.
The more monied you are, the less your choices have any potential consequences for Yourself.

14. Again? Isn't this becoming like the constant "getting" of Al Qaida #3's?
I wonder if the FBI -- or their corporate owners - -really thinks this will make the hacking go away?

17. Best part of the story - a homeless guy helped take on Sony.
I wonder if the "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" folks feel the same way about Chinese, Burmese, and Middle Eastern justice activists?

22. Waldo, the question is what are you doing out there?
Martin Luther King, Jr. said that he had been inspired to civil disobedience by Ghandi, but who inspired Ghandi?

"Disobedience,” Part 1
by Wendy McElroy, Posted July 25, 2005

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
<snip>

"Thoreau declined to pay the tax {poll tax} and so, in July 1846, he was arrested and jailed. He was supposed to remain in jail until a fine was paid which he also declined to pay. Without his knowledge or consent, however, relatives settled the “debt” and a disgruntled Thoreau was released after only one night.

<snip>

Thoreau may have also brooded over the reaction of {author, Ralph Waldo} Emerson, who criticized the imprisonment as pointless. According to some accounts, Emerson visited Thoreau in jail and asked, “Henry, what are you doing in there?” Thoreau replied, ??Waldo, the question is what are you doing out there?” "

True, don't do the crime unless you are also prepared to do the time. But some things are worth doing time for.

May each and every imprisonment of a lefty be as "pointless" as the one night in jail that contributed ending of the evil poll tax--and inspired Mohandas Gandhi, Leo Tolstoy, and Martin Luther King Jr.

26. What inspired Gandhi was having an enemy as ethical as the British.
Against the Bush administration he would have gotten NOWHERE. Your opponent has to have some respect for law and morality for civil disobedience to work. It's a way of communicating with the best part of your enemy.

25. What exactly did they do with the data anyway?
The document doesn't say anything about them being part of the DoS stuff that we heard about... Unless the DoS was just a bunch of people running shit against the server to find holes. That hardly seems effective though(perhaps why they were caught) Assuming it wasn't something like that, what exactly did they do that lost Sony money?
