Bloomberg: Jobs crisis could spark riots here

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is worried that high U.S. unemployment could lead to the same kind of riots here that have swept through Europe and North Africa.

"You have a lot of kids graduating college, can't find jobs," said Bloomberg, during his weekly radio show on Friday. "That's what happened in Cairo. That's what happened in Madrid. You don't want those kinds of riots here."

Maybe it'll convince others to get off their asses and start thinking about their constituents instead of their bottom line.

Not holding my breath this will happen, though.

8. We'd get mowed down like weeds. Our military is very different in size and mindset
from Egypt's. Plus, all we really know about Egypt so far is that the same military that was behind Mubarak is still in control, only no more Mubarak.
