Sarah Palin's husband Todd attacks biography for 'lies'

Sarah Palin's husband has condemned "disgusting lies" contained in a biography of his wife due to be released next week.

The Rogue: The Search for Sarah Palin, a book by Joe McGinniss, alleges Mrs Palin had an affair in the 1990s, and has used cocaine, US media report.

It also claims the former Alaskan governor had a one-night stand with US basketball star Glen Rice.

Mr McGinniss moved into the house next door to the Palins in 2010.

The move prompted Mrs Palin to erect a fence between the houses to protect her privacy after news that Mr McGinniss had signed a book deal.

Mrs Palin, a potential 2012 presidential contender for the Republican party, has not yet commented on the claims.

Short of actual video footage of her snorting coke or having sex in her dorm room, you'll never be able to prove the allegations in the book. So those who want to believe it's true will do so, and those who don't want to believe it will not. And that's as far as you'll get.

Also, as for her allegedly snorting coke; so did Bush and so did Obama. And it didn't stop them from getting to the oval office. I don't know what will be the ending of this woman, but it's certainly not this.
